This game kit includes five game titles; Lightning Strike, Bathtime Bucks, Lucky Striker, Party Crashers, and St. Patty's Payday, and all 5 games are finite based with a Mandatory Preview Feature. Finite based software means that the element of chance has been removed.
For a Mandatory Preview Game, the player must view the outcome of the next game before they can actually spin the reels. What this means is, when the customer hits the "Start" Button on the game, it automatically shows the result of that game on the screen. Then when the customer hits "Start" button again, the reels spin, or shutters reveal, to the result shown. It is Mandatory for the customer to preview before they actually play. This was released as Version 67.
The following disclaimer is posted on the main screen of the game at all times: "IN EACH OF THESE GAMES THE PLAYER MUST PREVIEW THE NEXT GAME OUTCOME BEFORE THE GAME CAN BE PLAYED. THESE OUTCOMES CAN BE PREVIEWED WITHOUT THE INSERTION OF ANY MONEY. THERE IS NO CHANCE INVOLVED IN ANY PLAY OF THE GAME AND THE PLAYER CAN PREDICT EACH GAME OUTCOME."
At any time, the user may simply touch the “Cash Out” button to print a voucher with which to redeem the balance. The user never has to spend money to see all of the available prizes.
In all of the games, game chance has absolutely no role in any possible outcome. Each and every prize to be awarded is predetermined and placed in the list of prizes before the software is loaded into the machine. Since the user may view the entire list of prize outcomes that will occur at their balance, in the order in which they will occur, every outcome which may entitle the user to a prize is entirely predictable by the user.
